Batch determination in KANBAN

Dear experts.

for the batch determiantion in the KANBAN,

We define the control type : 6  transfer requests from a stroage location controlled by WM.

Search procedure: ZME001 , it's a search profile setting in the IM level.

    The storage location maintain in the KABAN is 1-30 managed by WM.

  My question is

  1. if we set the search procedure in the KANBAN, the batch determination is WM or IM ?

Hello,

It would be in WM if the storage location is WM managed  Batch and stock determination occur at WM level.

Batch determination search strategy is supported in processes in which the goods movements are posted exclusively in WM (transfer requirement, transport request) or the corresponding inventory management posting is carried out subordinated, thus that it can adopt the data determined by WM in the transport request.

thanks. system copy will finished tomorrow. i will testing for it.

Another question is if we don't set the WM batch selection procedure.

only use storage type removel stroage type F(FIFO)

It calculate the quant age fo FIFO.

but some time , the goods return will refrest the date of the quant.

Sap have a config can realize that the good return can not change the quant age..

Do you know this config?
