stock requirement list/quantity discrepancy

Hi All,

I am facing one issue in stock requirement list.The schedule line quantity for a component material(ROH) is greater than the demand of dependent material(HALB) and that schedule line is accumulating whole months requirement whereas it should consider only weekly requirements as Lot size in material master is maintained as weekly lot size.

Can you please suggest why system is accumulating whole months requirements? What are the settings needs to be checked to clear the issue..

What are the factors that are considered at the time of required quantity calculation for any procurement proposals during MRP??

Please suggest something if there is any reason behind the discrepancies of data in MD04.

What could be the possible reason for calculation of scheduled quantity greater than demand quantity?

What are the things i need to check??

Hello

The quantity of a replenishment proposal is calculated by MRP using the lot sizing procedure defined on tab MRP1 of the material master.

Which lot sizing procedure are you using? Do you have additional parameters, such as minimum or maximum lo size?

Please share screenshots of transaction MD05 pointing the issue and from tab MRP1 of the material master.

Hi,

I am sharing the MD04 screens for subsequents level material:

7111-296s is HALB material whose BOM contains another HALB material 7111-423.7111-423 contains a raw material 7176-191.

Here for level 1 and level 2 materials (7111-296s/080 and 7111-423) planned orders are getting generated weekly but for 3rd level material(7176-191) only one schedule line got generated.Why??

For example take april month requirements..

The lot size for each material in material master is WB that is weekly lot size..There is not any minimum or maximum lot size maintained for any material.

Please suggest.
