CWBQM mass change of control indicators on a MIC

I am trying to mass change the "Recording Type" control indicator and I can't seem to get it to work. I highlight all, indent that column and go to mass change and it gives me selection option in which I cannot find Recording Type listed.

I was able to change Inspection Scope no problem so not sure what the issue is?

I am getting the same in our system. For whichever reason "Recording Type" is not available for mass update in CWBQM.

Maybe log a note with SAP to see as to the reason why

Hi Nacy

For mass change of MIC please go through the LSMW which is very easy than CWBQM.

If you want to go with CWBQM please go with Bhavsar detail explanation.

Hi Nancy,

you can follow the steps to change the "recording type" control indicators.

1. Run transaction CWBQM

2. Select Working Area - Q_TSK_000000000010

3. Enter Plant, Task List Type, Group, Counter and Execute

4. In Next Screen, Select the line item and follow the menu path Task List >> Inspection Characteristics

5. In Next screen, select the control indicator tab

6. In control indicator tab, follow the menu path Inspection Characteristics >> Change/Lock.

7. Refer the below screen shot to pass the values

in addition, you can pass characteristics value on the given screen field to select individual inspection characteristic for recording LSMW with CWBQM.

So, if you have few plans to correct you can just use CWBQM else use LSMW with CWBQM recording as per the above steps.

pass '+' for Required when previous required characteristic is accepted

pass '-' for Required when previous required characteristic is rejected

pass 'X' forRequired characteristic

pass ' ' forOptional characteristic
