Hello Gurus.
We plan to use PPM 6.1 with cFolders as master document management system. We've already installed CPRXRPM 610_740, now we are trying to install cFolders, but information we found and configuration guides (https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000002672&_EVENT=DISPLAY&_SCENARIO=0110003...) tells us that cFolders are implemented within cProject Suite 4.5 (CPRXRPM 450_700) which is older then component we've already installed. So till now we don't know what component we need to install and what version.
Any help appreciated and will be rewarded.
Hi,
there is nothing else that needs to be installed in order to be able to use cFolders (it is part of CPRXRPM 610_740). Please refer to the cFolders Configuration Guide that contains all initial steps needed to start working with cFolders (e.g. user configuration (roles, authorization objects...), setting up the URL to call cFolders, system settings and so on). The guide can be found under following link:
http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2007/helpdata/EN/eb/95403d9e321d72e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
Again, please don't be confused by the release mentioned in the guide, the guide is also valid for 6.1.
To have a quick look, assign yourself role SAP_CFX_USER, go to TA se80, open BSP Application 'CFX_RFC_UI, expand 'Pages with Flow Logic', select 'default.htm' and select 'Test' in the context menu. The cFolders application should open. Next, go through the chapters in the config. guide for all other relevant settings (e.g. chapter 'Network settings' > determine application URL etc...)
Best regards,
Silvia

Hi,
don't bother about the version - as cFolders is in maintenance since 4.5 you can stick to what is documented there in the Master Guide. Obviously you should check any related notes, especially 1821685.

Hi,
this confirms what I stated - the ABAP part is already part of the CPRXRPM installation.
Not sure which other components you really still need besides this, for your use case. I guess pretty much none of the optional ones, as you have PPM installed within your intranet.
Check the Configuration Guide for any additional settings needed.
