SCM Quota Arrangment Split

Former Member

Hello

I've created on /SAPAPO/SCC_TQ1 a 50/50 split quota for supplier A and B.

The behavior i'm getting when we run the SNP heuristics is that for every need we have it create to purch. req, one for Supplier A with 50% of the need and 50% for supplier B.

SupplierWeek 1Week 2Week 3
Total Need100010001000
Supplier A500500500
Supplier B500500500

However what we need is the to have the same behavior available on R/3, that it keeps the overall quota but without the split on the period, as the following example

SupplierWeek 1Week 2Week 3
Total Need100010001000
Supplier A10001000
Supplier B1000

Documentation is unclear if this is possible or if the split is the only standard behavior. Any alternative solutions?

Best regards

João

Hello Joao,

In the Quota Arrangement header this is requirement splitting parameter. Please test by removing the same.

Hello

I've got the same behavior, with or without the flag.

That setting is not utilized by SNP heuristics.

SNP heuristics will split the demands to the (2) vendors automatically.

Are you sure that both vendors is able to meet the demand on time?

Put/enter a forecast demand way into future.  Does SNP heuristics split the demand and source from both vendors?

Hello

It keeps splitting the source during the Quota validity. I've try to debug and looks like there's no solution with the SNP heuristic

that is what I was telling you.  Heuristics will split demand using the quota regardless of the setting..

That indicator is used by other engines.

There is no bug.

It just works at PP/DS level?

I'm trying SNP optimizer but only getting Quota arrangement prod_a@plant_a:20160406-20160626 contains redundant items
