Hi All,

I activated two MM and two FI Apps,

1 .Goods Issue

2. Goods Receipt

1. G/L accounting document

2. Vendor accounting document

These are working fine. I have two users: user 1, user 2 . I have assigned goods issue, goods receipts roles to user 1. G/L and Vendor accounting document roles to user 2.

when       user 1  login into launchpad, it will show 4 apps.

similarly   user 2  login into launchpad, it will show 4 apps.

But,

I want display user 1  -  Goods issue and receipts

                     user 2  -  G/L and vendor accounting documents.. ?

How to restrict...?

Please Help..How to do...?

Thanks and Regards

Nagaraj

Hi Nagaraju,

Looks like you are having the GWFND to SP13. Apply the steps mentioned in the below note.

You should be able to see Fiori tiles in the launchpad.

I see the roles you have assigned is right. all you need to do is get the tiles in launchpad.

Hope this helps,

JC

Hi,

Are you sure that you are seeing tiles on launchpad for the Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, G/L Accounting Document and Vendor Accounting Document factsheets? Ideally you use the search bar to search for and launch the factsheet apps, they don't show up as tiles on the launchpad. Can you post a screenshot of your launchpad showing these tiles?

Saurabh

Hi Nagaraj,

Now you know authorization objects are related. Authorization trace in ST01 can help you.

Hi Nagaraj,

Please work with your colleague who knows about SAP BASIS. It will be a good learning for troubleshooting with ST01 authorization log.

Hi Masa,

Your Q:

Can you test with the user 3 who does not have any FI and MM roles?

I Tested in user 3, the 4 apps (G/L, Vendor accounting documents, Goods issue, and Goods Receipt)

are showing in launchpad.

I  search any app, it is shows header inform of all apps but corresponding items are not visible.

I don't want show all.

FIORI 1 - show only MM

FIORI 2 - show only FI

FIORI 3 - Nill

Is it possible..?

Thanks and Regards

Nagaraj

Hi Nagaraju,

So the app visibility control works fine when user select a search result. User can not see the object details. Now, your requirement is about the search function.

Check the OData service which gets list of objects. I guess it reads search configuration which is system wide setting.

Hi Nagaraju,

I think it is controlled by the authorization object S_ESH_CONN. Please check the authorization log.

Hi Masa,

I copied standard role SAP_ESH_SEARCH to Z<Role>  and assigned to user, in role tab we have SAP_ESH_SEARCH_USER role through this role we can control the search criteria.

Thanks and Regards
