New Wage Type

Dear Experts,

We need to create New Wage Type in 8 w.e.f. six month back date. However this is just for corrrection of some errors and I don't want to get arrers Payment for back dated creation.

Please guide.

When we create a wage type system triggers retro which recalculates and provides arrears but when we do not want such values not to be considered in arrears we will have to do lot of changes in the system but it is possible by maintaining required characteristics for wage type.

We will have to consider whether it is a earning or deduction component then accordingly we will have to set up the system.

Hi Rajesh,

I didn't get your query. You want to create it from 6 months back date in IT0008 and this is for correction of some errors.

When you will create it backdated, system will automatically retro to make adjustments.

Can you please explain what is the business driver behind such a requirement and what you are trying to achieve?
