Dear Experts,

I today faced one situation wherein one sender JDBC channel which was working fine for last 8 months suddenly threw some driver connectivity error and  stopped working.Upon start stop the error disappeared, channel displayed processing and was infact polling as per poll intervals but was not picking up data.

To verify I ran the select query on source DB and it populated few records but still no record in sender jdbc channel.

What can one do in such situation ?

1)I tried again starting stopping channel -Did not work

2)Saw Cache status inEnvironment->Cache ->all green.Did CPA cache refresh and sxi_cache refresh-Did not work

3)Made little change in description so as to activate it again -Did not work

4)Restart the PI server!!!- Did not work

5) Finally copied the same channel as is it and applied in sender agreement ->worked!!

Interestingly , the same situation had occurred in one of my previous clients too, that time too nothing had worked but when I copied the channel exactly as it is and used .It works!! Means nothing was wrong with the channel(specially considering it was working for last 8 months), so why does it stop working ? and why only works when replaced by its own copy?

Thanks in advance!!
