Batch split issue in outbound delivery

Hello,

I am currently facing an issue with batch assignment in outbound delivery.

I am currently running a specific program wich is automatically creating the deliveries from the given sales order number with the DELIVERY_PROCESSING_EXE BAPI.

But when the sales order contains only one item line with several quantities, some batches are assigned to multiple deliveries during the creation of the deliveries wich is incorrect. (when the sales order contains mutlple lines, the batch split is correctly performed).

After investigating, the issue is not related to this specific program but to the current batch determination customizing.

We are not allow to update the customizing (due to business requirements) and have to update the specific program.

Thus, we are trying to update the specific program by avoiding the use of the current batch determination customizing and the automatic picking.

We are trying to update the program in order to add a new step :

- prevent the automatic picking

- update the deliveries in order to assign the batches with the DELIVERY_CHANGE BAPI and assign the quantities per batches

Is it possible to avoid the current batch determination and picking during the delivery creation without customizing ? Because, when the program create the deliveries, the current batch determination and picking are automatically lunched before that we could update the deliveries....

Or there may be other possible solution ?

Thank you for your help !

Tom.

Can you reconfirm whether the issue is because of configuration or customizing ?   As you would know both are different.

We are not allow to update the customizing (due to business requirements)

For some cases, we can justify the client that unless we do configuration or customization change, their requirement cannot be met.  After that, it is upto the client whether to go ahead with the required change or not.
