ChaRM configuration:project is not activated due to error in TMS domain

Hi Expert,

I am doing charm configuration and stuck while activating project. When I am click check tab in solar_project_admin system through error "Check TMS Domains" and "System overview of  project *** ".PFA, screenshot.

I have create landscape test environment with same system with different client like PEC500 -> PEC700 ->PEC810. Please let me know if this type scenario is not possible with charm. PFA, domain configuration screenshot. I am using functionality of  Harmonizing RFC as my version is 7.1 SP12.

Any help is appreciated.

you need to define the routes properly..I see SAP standard layer missing

Please provide more details about issues.

You can click on Error entries "Check TMS Domains" and "System overview of  project mentioned in Project_Screen_2.jpg to get more details.

Two things are missed I guess.

1. Prakhar already mentioned where is SAP Layer (SAP-> 700) , and check the properties of layers.

2, Had you link the domain of transports from solman to PEC?

Also have you create the cts project in PEC development system?

How are your client specific import options etc.?

Thanks to all for prompt response.

Prakhar , I have added the missing layer by following your provided document.

Rishav TMS Domain issue is resolve after implementing note 1878718. Another issue is still open  "user Solman_admin does not exist" find screenshot for the same.

I am trying to create user from report AI_SDK_USER_GEN but don't know how to use. Please let me know how to create user for business partner.

Hello Dipesh,

This is normal you need to create or use a user which exists on the those particular clients.

your solman_admin user is not existing on client 500 700 or 810 so this is normal.

this should resolve your error

Hi Prakhar,

did you know from where this user is picked up so I can go to that place and change user that is already exist. Because I don't want to create Solman_admin in all managed system.

Is that user related with business partner profile?

Hi,

The best practice to setup CHARM project is to have the common user in SOLMAN and the TMS landscape( Clients).

In your case you need to have solman_admin user in PEC500 -> PEC700 ->PEC810..

Issue is resolved with the help of all your comment .Now project is activated.

can someone have any document or know any link to configure workflow for ChaRM. i.e Change manager->approval->assign to developer etc..

Thanks Hanumant. However my concern is where I have to go in system to assign users to Change manger->developer->tester profile.

Or is any standard program / tcode available to create test user for all profile to check flow(just for testing purpose).

Hi Dipesh,

All the users who are involved in ChaRM usage, need to have Business partner ID created(BP_GEN transaction can be used) and Business Role assgined so that ChaRM Web UI can be accessed.

To work as Change manager or Developer, relevant SAP Roles/authorizations need to be assigned to users in ChaRM  etc.

Example of SAP Roles:

SAP_CM_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Administrator
SAP_CM_CHANGE_MANAGER_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Change Manager
SAP_CM_CONF_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Configuration
SAP_CM_DEVELOPER_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Developer
SAP_CM_OPERATOR_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Operator
SAP_CM_PRODUCTIONMANAGER_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Production Manager
SAP_CM_REQUESTER_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Requester
SAP_CM_TESTER_COMP	Composite Role Change Manager - Tester
