Update only insertion number field in BSEG by FM

Hi,

I am trying to update/change field INSERTION NUMBER(ZZ_INS_NUM) in table BSEG by using CALL FUNCTION 'G_FI_UPDATE'.

However I am nt able to get this changed by using this FM

Can u guys please help me with some solution for this.

I want to use only Function module to update insertion number field in table BSEG.

Use search tool, there are many thread on how to update FI document with FM like FI_ITEMS_MASS_CHANGE.

But those fields must be editable in transaction FB02 or FB09, some Customizing is usually required.
