Secondary NC Code assignment

Good Morning Experts,

We have been using ME for a little over three years and we have a few scenarios where there are MANY secondary NCs assigned to a parent.  Whenever we try to add additional secondaries that system balks, gets very unresponsive and will ultimately not assign the new secondaries.

Do you have any advice on this issue?

Which GUI gets slow: NC Log, NC Data Tree, NC Code Maintenance?

How many NC Codes?

How does unresponsiveness get resolved? Any error message in logs or on the screen?

Sergiy,

It is the NC Code Maintenance screen itself that lags badly - the system will not actually assign the new secondaries, I have had to try multiple (a dozen or so) times to get the secondaries added, which they eventually do.  We have around 40 secondary codes assigned.

Have you tried turning on SQL trace and analysing the results in the NetWeaver log?

Looked at the Netweaver logs and didn't see anything.

No but that's a great idea - had not thought of that as it just seems to slow way down as opposed to erroring but I will definitely take a look!
