NEW NETWEAVER 7.5 system

Ok guys first system in landscape new NW7.5 system installed.

It starts and before any configuration is done we should upgrade to the two Upgrade packages.

Went to use SUM to update to the packages 1 and 2 via new SUM UI5

NO SOLMAN system yet. any way to get the the XML files SUM is looking for?

Linux SYBASE ASE landscape.

The packages have MID.XML files that other say they needed but SUM complains when I give it those locations.

I have done like other suggested part 1 in a dir part 2 in separate dir.

Hello Bryan,

Since the NW 7.5 is the initial installation without any further SPS installed, you can use maintaince planner to calculate and download SPSs and stack.xml to update.

Hi Bryan,

If you don't have a stack.xml file at all, then you can also download the packages manually in the SAP Support Portal and use SPAM to import them.

The alternative provided by Ning is also a good approach.
