Restricting Info Type 0002

Dear Experts,

My client is using International Payroll. Here we are using Reference Personal No Info Type (0031) as to refer Old Employee No. with new Employee No.

The data of Info Type 0002 and 0009 are copied to new employee no as per the old employee No.

The problem we are facing is , when we change anything in Info Type 0002 of new employee No., same changes are reflected in Old Employee No.

Is there any configuration to restrict the changes happening in Info Type 0002 for Old Employee No.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Shardul,

I doubt you can restrict it.

Both PERNRs belong to the same employee even though one is terminated status.

The name of the same employee can't be different in 2 different PERNRs and that's why IT0002 get changed in both PERNRs

Infotypes to be copied to reference pernr is set in config table T582A / field CPRFN ('Copy Infotype'). However, as IT0002 is a required infotype, it doesn't make sense to turn this off in my opinion.

29999 is My New Employee No. and 19479 is Separated Employee No.

Both are linked by maintaining info type Reference Personnel Numbers (00031).

Now when I change any field in info type 0002 of new employee No (29999) same is reflected in separated employee No (19479).

Can I restrict the data change in separated  Employee No.

I have attached screen shots for your reference.
