Date range filter is not working for PCo query

PCo query is fetching proper set of result depending on the date range provided directly in the query itself. But when passing the same date range to the same query from a BLS dynamically as StartDate and EndDate, the data is not getting filtered. It's returning the whole set of data. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?
