Shell for SIDADM.

Experts,

What is the recommended shell to work as sidadm, even though the default shell is C shell. I feel ksh is much better in terms of working with the cmd interpreter (set -o vi), is there any similar way to set the editor for C shell ( I tried with setenv EDITOR vi)?, but it doesn't really give me the way to edit the cmd's as in bash or korn (like edit the cmd's or toggle through previous cmd's etc..).

I prefer bash for the reasons you counted.

Also for tab function.

I don't have strange characters when I press backspace, either.

SAP recommends C shell, although others should work as well.

Read the SAP note 202227.
