SAP Lumira Desktop 1.30 - Stuck on "Acquisition Completed"

Hello,

I am using fully licensed version SAP Lumira Desktop 1.30 version. I am trying to create a new document using universe but it is getting stuck in the final "Acquisition Completed" stage. I tried with excel as source and I have same problem. Can someone help me resolve this issue?

Same issue after upgraded from 1.28 to 1.31 today.

Tried Colm's method but not work for me.

Neither completely uninstall and re-install work.

You help is appreciated.

Tried these steps and works for me

  • Exit Lumira 1.31
  • Delete License Key folder: C:\Users\Public\sapvi
  • Delete Preferences folder: C:\Users\<user>\.sapvi
  • Restart Lumira 1.31

(In my case, removal of application folder wasn't required)

Same issue here, also on 1.3, had to go to the latest version because we couldn't get Lumira working via Windows AD and data sets based on universe.

Now that works but data-set creation hangs at "Acquisition Completed"

Preview data works but when I select create it hangs.

Maybe I should have tried a little longer

Answer

I renamed the folder C:\Users\Public\sapvi which holds the license key

Then reopen the application, filled in the license key when prompted and problem was solved....sapvi folder is recreated.

I am also having this exact issue. I am using SAP Lumira 1.29.3 on several different machines, and it seems to only be occurring on one of the computers. What is odd is that it is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with plenty of RAM (16 GB).
