Hi Honor,

What is the version of java jre?

If you have installed the system , then why again you are starting the SWPM.

Hi again,

maybe i understood you wrong. its not my idea to install SWPM. It was recommended by other users and different tutorials. The Management Console works fine. All instances are green. But i can t login to sap access.

How can it be that so many people has the same problems without any solution for that. I m really worry about that. Maybe i should provide a plug and play harddrive from internet. I have to study ABAP and have no other choice to push me to do it in that way. Thats really poor !

Thanks you too.

Hi Honor.

1. Have you disable the firewall and UAC on windows OS ?

2.  I think you have to install the JAVA 2 SDK 1.4.2.x, not on latest version.

3. Is this any antivirus software installed on the Windows sever?

Hi

You try to install the JAVA 2 SBK 1.4.2.x , set the environment variable JAVA_HOME=c:\JRE*

and then start the SWPM.

Hi SS,

you mean JAVA 2 SDK 1.4.2. Should i really download a obsolete one ?

I have win 2008 R2, but the newest 1.4.2 series are for Solaris OS. I found this one for Windows -> 1.4.2.19         Should i download and install this.

How can i get the SWPM without a SAP Key ?

Thanks for helping me.

Hi SS,

i installed it and set also the pathvariable. But the problem still there.

I do not have a marketplace key to download the swpm. I do not understand, why SAP offers

a trial without the important tools to install it.

What a dishonest practice from SAP.

So, my nerves are quite frayed. Stupid SAP !

Thanks SS for trying to help.
