Hi,
We are planning to migrate oracle Db to MaxDB. The systems are non-unicode systems. So to we have to also make unicode conversion.
I am confused with how to carry the both activities together. Please give inputs. If some one has done this migration kindly tell share your experience.
Kind Regards,
Harish Desai
Hi Harish.
You have to perform SAP Heterogeneous System copy (SAP Standard Source export and target Import) along with Unicode Migration. Refer the SAP system copy guide
Refer the SAP link SAP NetWeaver Guide Finder

In fact, the SAP system Migration (heterogeneous copy) and Unicode conversion is achieved by doing an export and import of the system. In your case you can get it done in one step. Read the guides for Unicode conversion. A certified migration consultant is mandatory for the system migration.
