Hi All,
We are implementing ESS 60.2 (WebDynpro )on EP 6.0 sp9 with ECC 5.0 . In all the ESS pages , we could not see the icons, all images showing CROSS SYMBOL( for eg in the overview page , icons are missing for working time , personal information etc ).
Please help us...
Helpful answers would be rewarded for sure..

Birla.
Hi ,
It appears by default.. I guess , these icons are specified in the SPRO configuration..
Each link in area page has a corresponding service in the backend.. See if the images are mentioned for each service..
Just a hint.. !

Hi Bharadwaj,
By Default icons was not displayed...
And by default resource path of the icon(from viewsource) http://hostname:50100/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils/Components/com.sap.xss.ser.xssmenu.vc.areagroup.VcXssMenuAreaGroup/portrait_form_magnifier.gif.
As you suggested i have checked in the SPRO configuration, i tried with "Define Server resource path" even after making changes here.. the resource patch doesnt get changed in the actual pages.
Assumption:- We dont have KM in our landscape.. will this be a reason for this problem? are they storing images in the KM folder?
Regards,
Birla.

Hi,
No.. XSS utils is a standard component utility and usually components under pcui_gp .. read the SPRO configuration from Backend and load them..
So .. it might be that .. its in ECC server and u r application reads and loads it into its mime folder at runtime.. !
There is actually a place where u can activate image storage.. to SAP content server.. ! Check if its activated.. I am not aware of the exact place at which its avaialble in SPRO.
Jus a shot in the dark.. !

Bharathwaj..
Birla,
Few things
Check for OSS note ( which you probably might have)
Check the path of the omages by right clicking on the image and see if that image exists in the location ( it might most probably not ... if they do exist re-start the j2ee engine)
If nothing works out try to re-deploy the BP.

Hi Raj,
Thanks for the info..
Can you send me that SAP Note no?
I have checked in the path (http://hostname:50100/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils/Components/com.sap.xss.ser.xssmenu.vc.areagroup.VcXssMenuAreaGroup/portrait_form_magnifier.gif) but there is no images under this folder.. i have also restarted the J2EE engine..
Also tried to redeploy...
Did any body faced this problem? if so plz share..
