Hi, please let me know if anyone were able to solve this issue. I have a similar issue. one of the generated staging table for a type4 entity with active area as MDG, is not getting activating after updating data type from date to time.

se14 is not helping and se11, activation is not working.

is there a way to force activate the structure in MDG. we are on MDG 8

Hello,
Please check that the Data Model is Activated, and then execute the following reports.

1. USMD_DATA_MODEL ( You can check the staging table by double-clicking on it)
2. USMD_ADJUST_STAGING

This should reflect the changes

Try activating the data model.

After activating data model, execute below report

USMD_ADJUST_STAGING

Thank you.

If i use USMD_ADJUST_STAGING, does it will ask for transport request?.

Because i need to transport the tables to QA,PRD systems.

Thanks

No it will not ask for transport request. You have to repeat executing USMD_ADJUST_STAGING in QA and PRD systems.

You can re-activate the tables in SE11. Do not change the tables there; only re-activate.
