NW BPM Deployment is giving "build variant default" error

Hi Experts --

I am presently working on NW BPM ( PO 7.3 ). When I had done with my development and trying to Build and Deploy the objects it is throwing the below error --

"Build failed for component in variant default"

Could you let me know you thoughts on this?

I dont see any ESB in Preferences. I am importing it from ESR.

Issue is not solved, might be chekcing on server access where NWDS got installed

Just to add more.

check whether NWDS version is matching with SAP PI version.

And deleted the project and try creating new and deploy it.

I checked with assigning these but not successful.

Now I have another query.. in order to access BPM I just gave the URL in SAP JAVA AS and Composite Designer. Is any other step I am missing to connect to NW BPM?

Did you maintain Preferences->Enterprise service broswer?

and from were your importing the WSDL files ?from ESR or file?

There is no separate role for only for deployment, if it has to be a development specific role then follow this
