Secure Login Server - LDAP Destination with multiple servers?

Hi Experts,

is it possible to define in the Secure Login Server Destination Management a LDAP Destination with more then one LDAP host? We do use this destination in order to map a specific LDAP attribute and use this as the certificate CN.

Hi Carsten,

you cannot define a LDAP Destination with more than one LDAP host, but you can define more than one destination to do the mapping. In Certificate Configuration Tab -> Logon ID Mapping you can select the destinations that you want to use.

The intention behind my question was to allow for failover.

What is, if the first ldap server is down for any reason. Does the destination mapping work from top to bottom?

Exactly Carsten,

from top to bottom. If the first server is down, the next one is taken.

That is the way we do failover.
