solman_setup show blank page with certification error

Hi ,

I am install sap solution manager 7.2 (abap only) .

when I run solman_setup it's open browser with blank screen with https certification error .

My question in previous version like 7.1 by default solman_setup open http and port by default 8000 now it's open https and port 50001.

if it's require certification from solman 7.2 then how to configure it  and where to find installation guide including post installation activities.

As the same problem I faced, but I installed dual stack(abap+java).

Tcode:Solman_setup not working. Browser shown an empty page..

Did you make sure that SGEN is run on system? Compile all required program.

Hi Khizer,

as stated by Yogesh you need to install the java instance of SAP Solution Manager 7.2. You cannot run SAP Solution Manager 7.2 w/o java.

Regarding the blank page:

are you getting stuck in the mysapsso page with the certificate error? In case your browser (guess it's IE) does not trust the issuer of the SSL certificate the cookie cannot be issues. Hence you may get stuck in the mysapsso page. You can either install the self-signed certificate to the trust list of your local browser or you can ask a trust center (e.g. Verisign) to sign your certificate request.

Thanks for all for helpful information.

I also installed java system with SID SOLJ and instance number 02 and 03

abap and java system added into SLD now when I run solman_setup following error appear

Error in the ABAP Application Program

	The current ABAP program "CL_DIAGLS_FACTORY=============CP" had to be
	terminated because it has
	come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
	In include "IF_LMDB_API_FACTORY===========IU	", in line 7 of program
	"CL_DIAGLS_LMDB_FACTORY========CP	", the following syntax errors
	have occurred:
	Type "IF_LMDB_API_FOR_TMS" is unknown

	Author and last person to change the include are:
	Author	SAP
	Last changed by "SAP	"

Hello Khizer,

Before you start Solman_setup you must have to install JAVA Stack.

You can not start confoguring solution manager if you only have ABAP Stack

Please let me know for more qiestion
