Number of Java Server Nodes and Number of Server Processes

Gurus what´s the difference between these two parameters of Java instances. What technically differs Java server nodes and Number of Server processes?

Take a look at attached images of Configtool. It´s a AEX System, I want to tune these two parameters, please provide notes and documentation of how to set up both of them. Regards.

Thanks a lot. Really quantity server processes can be defined at template level and at java instance level. I´m posting these two exemples. First 3 pics are from a machine with one server process defined at template level and four defined at instance level. The other 3 are from a machine with two instances defined at template level, and at instance level the quantity is inherited from the template.

Just wanted now a clear documentation of how to optimally setting up quantity of server processes.
