Hello Experts,

We are using EGR for creating inbound delivery in EWM system.

During Inbound delivery creation system batch is getting created but fields like manufacture date and Expiry date fields are greyed out.

So were are unable to update the characteristics for the product in batch .

How to enable Manufacture Date & Expiry Date in EGR screen to input the values .

Olet

Hi Olet,

in transaction /SCWM/EGR you can not edit EGRs. EGRs are basically "copies" of ERP documents and should not be changed.

What you can change is e.g. the inbound delivery item that you can created based on an EGR.

E.g. if you use /SCWM/GRPE you can use an EGR and create a inbound delivery based on it and here you can also change data.

Best regards

Hello Markus,

Thanks for your reply !

My requirement is to create and print batch along with its characteristics like Mfg Date ,Gr Date,Expiry date etc.

This scenario I have never done before but now will try to reflect scenario proposed by you.

Thanks will get back to you.

Hello Markus,

I replicated the scenario till Inbound Delivery in EWM.

Now batch is appearing in EWM but Prod. date ,Expiry date fields date are non-editable .

How to make it in editable form ?

Hi olet,

Try with changing the batch determination indicator as 'm'  to update the dates.

Hello Olet,

when there is a batch, you cannot edit fields that are batch attributes as well (production and expiry date, country of origin). Those data are copied from the batch master record.

Hi.

it seems, batch is coming from PO ,right...then change the batch determination indicator to M and delete that batch and click on the batch creation there and enter the required...

Hello CK,

when the batch was entered in the PO, you cannot change it in the delivery (neither ERP not EWM). The indicator would be E in theat case and anything with the indicator E must not be changed.

Katrin
