How to Ignore information message

Hello All,

When I try to create a debit memo request for a service material(new created say X) I am getting information message as Configuration not possible for material X : Reason 3 --> Help

Could you please Suggest how can we ignore this information message.

Note: There is no tick maintained in material master as configurable material.

Are there any other settings in material master?

Usually it is not a good approach to ignore such message. It indicates that there is a problem with your master data or with the setup.

What item category is determined in your document - is this the correct one?

If not - check your master data - what is the item category group on sales organization level.

If it is correctly maintained,but you get an incorrect item category, check the copy controls (if you create with reference to a billing document). If it is stand-alone, check the determination in VOV4.

Check the settings in VOV7 as well - did somebody change the structure scope recently?
