For a client I need to set up Business Role Management, however I am not sure what the best strategy is for choosing the default connectors per environment. What in your opinion would be the preferred default connectors associated with for the four phases of Business Role Management in case you are using a 3-tier GRC environment?
My suggestions is as follows
GRC production
0001 Role generation (Default ECC Development - roles are maintained in ECC development)
0002 Role Risk Analysis (Default ECC Development )
0003 Authorization Maintenance (Default ECC Development)
0004 Provisioning (Default ECC Production - roles are provisioned in production)
0005 HR Triggers
Your feedback is much appreciated.
Hello,
your proposal looks fine but can be slightly different based on business requirements. Basically Role Generation, Role Maintenance and Role Risk Analysis should be done in DEV. Provisioning depends on the setup, but PROD seems fine to me (may be DEV and QS can also be considered). HR triggers should only run for HR PROD.
Regards,
Alessandro
