how to define the calculation method for per diem in travel management

Hi Experts,

Please suggest where to configure the following scenario in SAP travel management & in ESS application

Lets say employee starts travelling from x city to y city from 01.01.2016  9:00am and reached in Y city at 01.01.2016 11 am.

Stayed in the y city form 01.01.2016 11 am to 03.01.2016 12:30 pm

Returned from Y city on 03.01.2016 12:30pm and reached in x city at 03.01.2016 14:30 pm

lets say perdiem for x city 900 per day & for Y city 1000 per day

so in the above case employees has total traveling period 57.5 hours

out of which 6 hours he will be  paid as per x city rate(that is his journey period  4 hours)-225

Remaining 47.5 hours is equal to 48 hour will be paid as y city rate that is 2000

so total he is suppose to get RS 2225

kindly suggest how to configure this in sap

Hello Prashanti,

please call in your client 000 the table view (sm30) V_T706V for trip provision variant '09' (danmark).

There you will find for every country and trip type 'B' 24 entries- for every separate hour one entry.

Maybe you can do this for your solution in a smilar way.

Create for city X 24 entries (900 / 24) and for city Y 24 entries (1000 / 24 - means 1/24 for every separate hour)

Danmark has a calendar day calculation (sm30 V_T702N_A entries meal column 17 and 19

If you create now the business trip- use additional destinations

header data begin 01.01. 09 o'clock

additional destinatian 01.01  11- 03.01   12:30 city Y

additional destination 03. 01  12:31 till end

end 03.01 14:30

if i use additional destination for onward & return journey start date and time.

will it automatically calculate in the below asked method
