Poll Interval (min) on SFTP Sender CC

Hi Experts,

I am little bit confused here. I have a SFTP Sender CC, I put 5 in "Poll Interval (min)" field:

1. Does it mean the channel try to pull the file every 5 minutes? or only when first time pull, error happens then it try again after 5 mins?

2. After I start the channel at 4pm, will the channel start processing the file at 4pm right away, or it will wait to 4:05 to process the file?

From the log, once the channel start at 4pm, it always say next run is at 4:05pm, but the log for processing of the 4pm one only displays after 4:05pm. So i am little confused that exactly when the first polll started? at 4pm or 4:05pm?

Blue the channel will start immediately and poll for evey 5 mins from that.

4 it will poll,4.05 next poll and so on.
