Does personas valid on NetWeaver only

Hi Guys,

Just want to make sure if personas can be used on NetWeaver only(No Business system installed, e.g. ERP)?

I've installed NW7.5, and Personas add-on 3.0 SP2, and the Health Check finished successfully, but I can't see Gear button when calling transaction SU01, PFCG, and so on.

URL I'm used to access personas is:

http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/personas

There is no gear button in Personas 3.0 - that was in Personas 2.0

And yes, Personas works fine in a pure NetWeaver environment, it doesn't need business transactions.

If you have a Personas-specific role (/PERSONAS/*) assigned to your user and the role also has the proper authorization profile generated, then you should see a blue line at the top of the browser window, with four dots in the middle. Click on that and the Personas toolbar will open.

The problem is solved.

The problem is I forget to click the button

after installing Personas SP2 in transaction SPAM.

I see that you have resolved the issue, but maybe it is worth reading both documents too.
