saprouter is not starting: Error 14001

Hi all,

Yesterday i tried to install saprouter. I've done successfully upto creating router as a service(all the previous steps done successfully). After that i right clicked that service and then went to LOGON tab. There i given my sidadm and password and also selected the option ENABLE. After that i tried to start the saprouter by right clicking it. The following error message appears:

Error 14001 : The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Can any one suggest how this error happened? because all the steps done previously was correct..

Hi Praveen.

SIDADM user id as part of local administrator group? If it is not add the local administrator group and then try.
