Shipment Capacity Check

Hi ,

We received shipment via door.

So there is always chaos at some door while some door remains free with out any shipment staging.

We are looking for any some solution where we can define capacity check at door level.

Whenever shipment staging goes out of tolerance it has to move to next door in sequence.

Same way how the material flows from one bin to other bin if there is no enough space.

Do we have anything like this where we can proper leverage and monitor the goods at door level.

Hello Srini,

I hope you want to distribute the deliveries at doors equally.

Follow path :

IMG - Extended Warehouse Management - Master Data - Staging Areas

Input the number in StaBCap ( Capacity of a Storage Bin in a Staging Area field)

Here you can define the delivery number per Staging Area and Staging Area Group.

I believe this setting might meet your requirement.

Hi Srini,

Try with maintaining the staging area/door determination ( inbound ). Door and staging area also  storage types and maintain the capacity check.

System go through  the capacity check against the door bin and if it is not finding the enough capacity  , it can search for next one in the sequence.

Please update the result,since i never tried this.
