Enhancement for create options on phase got overwritten

Dear Experts,

We had an enhancement in place on phase to create Funding and deliverable materials separately with create button for respective phase with PPM 5.0 .

But with PPM 6.1 the option for creating such materials from this button is disappeared and only when we right-click on phase these options appear as shown in screen-shot below:

Could you please suggest me why this happened and what can be done to get the options back.

Hello Saurabh,

The "Create" functionality was changed in a major way in PPM 6.1. Whereas previously there was only one button "Create" which had to be used in combination with a dropdown box, in PPM 6.1. there are three buttons which change dynamically depending on which object is currently selected, so as to allow the creation of objects at the same or lower level quickly and more efficiently.

This improvement is mentioned in the Release Notes for PPM 6.1.:

The upside is that if you had enhanced the "Create" functionality in your earlier system, this will likely no longer work in PPM 6.1 (as the relevant methods and layout have changed). You will need to carry out new and appropriate enhancements in WebDynpro Component DPR_PROJECT_VIEW view VI_PROJECT_VIEW.
