Automatic GL Master Replication to Same Client

Hello,

We have set up Data Replication for GL Master into the same client using IDOC by following this document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00a8be6b-1537-3110-b6bd-bf16f48d5...

However, the data is not replicated (ie: IDOC is not triggered) automatically when a GL record is created in MDG. We have to manually trigger the replication to trigger the IDOC. Can someone help us understand how we can set this replication to automatic?

Hi Sagar,

Check what is set in "Replication Timing" in your Edition which is used for creating a GL record.

• If GL reocrd has to be replicated immediately whenever it is created, please set the "Replication Timing" to "On Final Approval of Change Request" during the Edition creation itself.

                   

• Else, set it to "Selected in Each Change Request" during the Edition creation and every time before a submitting a change request please choose "On Final Approval of Change Request" like below:

Perfect! We'll just have to create a new edition and make sure we select "On Final Approval"
