SRS Certification on Solaris 11?

Howdy everyone!

I have certification question.  Here goes ...

The SAP PAM states that SRS 15.7.1 is certified on Soalris 10 for SPARC (but not 11), and Solaris 10 and 11 for x64.  Interesting.   I know they are different builds / binaries, but OK I suppose it's possible to certify on one release but not the other.

Here's where it gets confusing:  The "Release Bulletin" for SRS 15.7.1 SP302 says that SRS is certified on Solaris 10 and 11 - but it doesn't differentiate between SPARC and Solaris X64.

Soooooo the customer that I'm working with now wants to deploy SRS on Solaris 11 (SPARC) .. so is SRS certified on Solaris 11 (SPARC) and if so what versions *ARE* certified?

Hey Chris - hope all is well with you!

The supported OS platforms are documented in the Installation Guide -> Planning Your Installation -> System Requirements section.  For SP302 it states Solaris (64bit) 10 and 11 - this is both Sparc and X86_64.  I will open a doc CR to specifiy that it is both Sparc and x86_64 to make it more clear.
