Hi experts,
I want to update my SAP NW 73 Java stack through SUM. Also I have SAP Solution Manager. So I stopped on step where I need to add stack.xml in SUM for update. When I connect to Solution Manager (tr - SM_WORKCENTER) I choose Change Manager -> Maintenance Optimizer -> New Maintenance Transaction and I don't know how to add my SAP NW 73.
How to add, guys?
Hi
First of all make sure the SLD/LMDB synch should be fine, it will be advised to have the managed system setup till RFC creation.
Please create a logical component for the SAP NW system in the SOLMAN. Create the solution and add that logical component in the solution then when you will select the solution you can see your system in mopz.

Hi Prakhar,

I think it's for old Java version
> Step By Step Process to configure SLD, MOPZ & EWA in Solution Manager 7.1 SP 8
"Let's take scenario of registering an ABAP system (ECC) in Solution Manager central SLD"
I have only JAVA Stack on my server with 7.3 version..

Hi Alex,
It seems to be an issue with your SLD and LMDB sync issue
goto sm37 check the job log for *LMDB* or sync job.
for specific error highlighted in your screenshot ...check details in below note for your error code
1670464 - LMDB Infrastructure Checks - Error Codes and Solutions
fix this issue first with lmdb unless this is resolved you can't proceed further.
Thanks

Hi Prakhar,
I did it..
I added to SOLMAN_BTC user needed roles..
From Note:
Batch User Authorizations
- AU702 - AU706:
The batch user is not set up properly. Check SOLMAN_SETUP, "System Preparation", step 1 "Maintain Users" to configure the SOLMAN_BTC user
So now I have the yellow status!
How to check does the system is added to LMDB ?
Thanks for reply!
Hi Alex,
Good.:)
Please check the system is displayed in LMDB under "technical system" tab.
system is added by the *lmdb* sync job from sld to lmdb automatically....you can check this in the job log
further as mentioned it will then appear under the technical system and then you should create product system for the same as per link shared earlier for maintenance of this system
happy to help further.
Thanks
Prakhar
Hi Alex,
You can check good FAQ on lmdb to common questions on lmdb.
further there is good document and request you to please check below
hope above clarifies.
Thanks
Prakhar
Hallo,
connect the NW Java to the Solution Manager SLD and get the data pushed to the SLD.
Once that is done you need to update the Solution Manager LMDB from the SLD (in general this should be done autmatically if your Solution Manager is setup correctly).
You will be able to use the system in MOPZ once it is in the LMDB.
Regards,
Thomas.
