Hi Ram,

If you want to setup and new system from copy of your existing system like production to quality or Test system.

In that scenario system copy useful.

There is two copy of system copy

HOMOGENEOUS

HETEROGENEOUS

It depend on project and requirement which one you want to perform.

Thank you for reply,setup new system in the sense it doesn't have sap directories in OS level or what ,if doesn't have  how create sap directories manually in OS level.

       if you have any documents regarding this please share me.

Hi Ram,

For ex, you want to do some critical job on your production system and you are not sure about that. In that case you can do system copy from production to any other test system. And there you can easily do your job.
