Hi all  !

PP and MM Expert, i have to resolve an issue in SD but i need help.  The sales order is recorded in the system with a single  item with order quantity. But when creating Outbound delivery  with VL10 ( Tcode ), the quantity recorded is more than the quantity available in stock ( MMBE to check the quantity in Unrestricted use). Usually, with zero in stock, user should not be able to create outboung delivery with any quantity.

Which  check to perform ?

  • avalability check setting in saless/ plant view   ???
  • ?????

Please help

Thanks

Hello,

please invest some effort to read and understand how ATP works, what customizing settings and master data influence it and how the standard system behavior can be changed, before you even consider resolving ATP issues.

The best approach would be to speak with your SD colleague, so that he/she can help you understand the company-specific setup and processes.

Hi,

Could you please clarify on whether your issue is system allowing you to create delivery even though the stock is not available ? In standard, yes you are right system would not allow you to create delivery w/o stock available, however, by having certain scope of check setting - the system can still allow you to do so - One such setting in the scope of check could be to consider the "Planned Orders". That way once the sales order is created - and say if your MRP is running then it would create Planned order and based on that Planned order, if we try to create the delivery for the sales order - system by considering the "Include Planned Order Stock" in the Scope of check setting - would allow to do so. This can be a possible scenario - where the logistics processing would happen through an external thrid party service provider - where in you need to share the order details by creating a delivery and share the information through and IDOC.
