Not able to view JPG

Hi,

We are using KPRO. After checking in JPG file we are unable to display the document and get the following error.

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

However notice that the JPG oroginal is getting saved as PIC after saving. Have checked DC30 settings and find the JPG settings are in place. Please find enclosed screen shot for your reference.

Please advise !

Hi, Was able to resolve the issue. The original issue was jpg doc was getting assigned as Appl-PIC after check-in. It was because Appl- PIC in turn had File Format-*.jpg as default in DC30. After removing the same the issue was resolved. Thanks Suresh & Shrikrishna for the effort to help me out ! Regards, Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,

it's simple!.


It is doesn’t give an impression that there is any issue with SAP.

I guess it is the native windows  application program (in your case it may be different OS) is either creating problem to open it up or it is using a completely different application program.

You or your desktop admin should be able to fixing by following this:

go to Control Panel->Programs->Default Programs->Set Default Programs->Set Program Associations

Dear Suresh, The program association is already available. Even tried changing it to "Paint" but it doesn't work. Regards, Rajesh
