CDP with RBA

Hi Experts,

Please suggest if we can have RBA configuration with Characteristics based planning (CDP) in APO. Does CDP support RBA?

If yes, what are the Configuration settings. Any doc/link in this regard would be of great help!

CDP is a planning solution.  RBA is a GATP solution.  They more like third cousins rather than brother & sister.

Perhaps you mean Characteristics Based Product Availability checking, which is related to Rules Based Availability checking.  Start in help.sap.com at

I don't recall ever seeing a step-by-step configuration document for CBA combined with RBA.
