Hi Team,
We need to transfer file from SAP Sourcing installed on UNIX Operating System to a Windows Share Directory (\\XX.YY.ZZ.AAA\UserGuides\Report). File will be a report generated using query in Sourcing hence we plan to use Report Execution Scheduled Task, is it possible to use URL Driver for file transfer to Windows from UNIX? When i try using the URL Driver Configuration below error is thrown
Please assist.
Thanks,
Vinoth
Hi Vinoth,
I cannot confirm if URL config will work for a Windows Share (SMB/CIFS).
Can you check and make sure that:
1. All directories exist on the file share
2. You are using "/" not "\" as file separator in Sourcing FTC config.
LaterEdit:
Unfortunately VFS2 does not support CIFS, so your config will not work.
If you really need to write to a windows share you need to check with your BASIS team to map the share directly to the CLM server(s). Then configure FTC as 'local directory'.
