EC Payroll and On Premise PI

Hi,

Can EC Payroll system integrate with on-premise PI system. We have a current SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1 system. We are migrating from on premise HCM system to a EC/EC Payroll.

All the existing interfaces based on payroll data currently use ABAP proxy and PI as middle ware. We would like to migrate ABAP work from HCM to EC payroll system and leverage existing PI system setup.

1. Is this possible? Are there any restrictions for EC payroll system to work with PI system.

2. Can someone please point to documentation or SAP help on how we can add the EC payroll system to SLD.

Hello Kiran,

Yes it is possible.

And since your going to use ABAP proxies the same procedure follows here like HCM scenarios.

Do you know if adding ECP system to SLD is different from adding a a regular on-premise system. Should this be added as an external system since its a hosted system from SAP? Are there any other parameters that should be considered. Thank you.

Hello Kiran,

since it is hosted by SAP system,Configuring as AS ABAP system should be good enough to go.
