user master source in grc 5.3 and 10.0 RAR.

Hi Experts,

We are doing the migration form 5.3 to 10. In 5.3 RAR we have a setting User master source= ECC1 . In 10.0 do we have the same setting? i can see user deatil data source and user mapping. but the User master soure setting is not found. So how to get this scenario.

If i keep detail data source as ECC1 do it work? but the problem is in 5.3 CUP the detail data source is ECC2. So while fetching user details, its fetching differnetly. Is their any setting in 10. Please suggest.

Dear Ravi,

you can set User Data Search and User Detail Data Source in SPRO > GRC > Access Control > Maintein Data Sources. You can set ECC1 with SU01 to gather data from the user master. It is also possible to connect a HR system and set the data source as HR. You can define different sources by sequence so that data from ECC1 get gather before ECC2, etc.
