SUM error NW 7.4 update 1AETW000 SQL error -60 occured: POS(1) Work rolled back,DEADLOCK DETECTED

Hello,

I update NW 7.4 SP4 to SP14. SUM stuck at 87% with the following  error and run in circle:

EXECUTING /usr/sap/ERP/DVEBMGS00/exe/tp pf=/SUM/SUM_030316/SUM/abap/var/TABIMTRNS.TPP put ERP -Dmainimp_proc=3 -Dparallel=no

This is tp version 380.28.39 (release 742, unicode enabled)

Hi Michal,

If possible take a restart of SAP including the database.

Then give a retry with the SUM tool.

thanks for reply.

I try to restart with ./STARTUP confighostagent ERP but it restart only hostsapagent. I see there are open processes in shell with R3Trans, kernel and SAPupReal. there is also one user on DB active.

Stopsap doesnt stop the DB because the user ist still active. I am not sure if the DB not get corrupt when I just restart the linux server...

The problem was solved.

After restart of the SUM Tool the installation could progress.
