Information Steward Error (DPR-10193)

Hi,

I am facing issue on Quality trend lines update while working with score cards in BOIS.

I am able to see the scorecard  for 'Now' run But not for the last runs.

Because of which Quality Trend lines not available.

Do we have any configuration setting for history deletion in BOIS.

Else what could be the reason for not unavailability of 'last runs' data.

Have you scheduled your tasks?

  • "Now" refers to manually triggered tasks only.
  • "Last runs" refers to scheduled ones.

Thanks Drik for the suggestion.

Tasks have been scheduled. But Still quality trend lines are not available.

You need a bit of patience, you need 2 completed scheduled runs before you can have a line.

As Dirk suggests, you need to run the Scorecard utility at least twice.

If you have modified the scorecard (add/ remove rules/bindings) then I have seen that sometimes this will not display, or if there are rules without bindings on the scorecard.  Running the utility normally fixes it.

I have observer the trend lines for 3 to 4 schedules.But i did not find any trend lines data.It is still showing trend data not available.

Chaitanya,

If you click on the Scorecard Setup tab and check that all rules have at least one binding and there are no red/ yellow icons.

If the scorecard is built correctly and still does not work after running the utility twice then raise an incident.

Storen,

All the rules have been provided with at least one binding.

As I am new to this information steward i am confused between running the task and utility.

Are they both same or different.

If they are different, can you please brief about how and where to run the utility.

If it is through CMC please let me know the actions we need to follow

Hi Chaitanya

The scorecard utility is run in the CMC.

Once logged in:

        • From the drop down choose "Applications"
        • then left click on "Information Steward Application" to highlight it
        • left click on the "Actions" drop down box in the upper left hand corner
        • from the drop down choose "Manage Utilities"
        • from the resultant window highlight "Calculate Scorecard"
        • then left click on the "Actions" drop down box
        • select "Run Now"

That will run the calculation. As with most things there are various ways to get to the run now command 🙂

I have few doubts regarding running the calculate scorecard utility.

If i click on run now will it run score cards for all the projects in that environment.

Let me know how to run scorecard utility only for particular project.


If this is not the case,can you please explain the theory of running the utility.(how the problem will be fixed after running the utility)
