Is SAPUI mandatory in ECC 6.07

Hello,

I did not succeed to remove SAPUI in the mopz that I generated to upgrade from ECC 6.04 to ECC 6.07.

Is it mandatory in ECC 6.07?

If not, I do you remove it from the Mopz?

SAP_UI component is installed during SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7 Installation.

I think it is mandatory.

You showed that it is installed in a particular case, which is your case.

Why do you think it is mandatory?

What surprises me is that I performed an EhP7 in 2013.

At this time it was not installed.

Hi Benoit,

SAP is concentrating on the SAP UI a lot and they have included the component as a part of SAP Netweaver components. If you install any plain SAP Netweaver components it will installed the SAP_UI as default components.

Previously , it was not included in a list of SAP Netweaver thats why you didn't get the package while after the upgrade.
