Hi Gentle man,
I am using SOAP to RFC sync scenario, in which I have done all the RFC configurations. We are tried to send the request message from SOAP UI and we are getting a empty SOAP response back from RFC. As we thought of keeping breakpoint in RFC, as it is R3 system, we don't have that option.
In my channel message log, I am getting the info as "RFC Adapter received an asynchronous message. Trying to send the tRFC for Guest with TID XIaKix4ERF4UM1mm00352MJW" As we are using sync but the info in channel message shows as async WHY?? Is there any modification need to done at PI end or R3 (RFC)??
Can anyone help out on this..
Thanks Everyone for the Help.
All the changes are maintained and due to cache issue the things were not updated. A quick restart of server has worked

Hi Chiranjeevi sir,
first of all hope you are doing good.
It is silly to ask this, but can you check the following
1. If both soap and rfc channels are on BestEffort mode
2. the outbound SI is synchronous in ESR
3. if above points are true can you please open the RFC imported in ESR and see if it has both request and response structure showing there.
Regards,
Vikas

Hello Chiranjeevi,
A Small addition to Vikas Points.
1.Making the soap adapter QOS-Best effort should be enough.
In ESR
Make sure you selected the mode in Service interface as Sync.
And added request and reponse mappings in the Operation mapping.
Refer the below link to get an idea on Sync Scenario,Yours will be reverse of the scenario
