users been complaining about the performance of the system and also I could see that the dialogue steps are high on st03n

Please advise what could be the root cause of sap reacting very slowly.

Thanking you in advance for your assistance

Generally speaking as system copy should not affect the source system.

At least not at the time when the copy process is finished.

The only exception I could imagine:

Did you create a new system that is now using the same resources as the old source system?

Same server, same SAN disks, same ... ?

Hi,

Could you share the status for SM50,SM21 & ST22 transaction from the system ? Addition to it you need to check for followings

1.Network response times (Check with OS01)

2.Dialog response time from ST03N.

3.Space available on the system along with Tablespace sizes.

4.Check for CPU utilization (ST06N).

With all you could refer SAP KBA 1918774 - Performance issues when running an SAP Installation or System Copy

Hope this will help you.
