Outer join option not available with simple join for salesforce tables using Simba connector

We have created a universe on salesforce tables using a custom Simba connector, we were not able to pull all tables from the generic SAP saleforce connector which is why we went with a custom connector.

Universe is created and joins are also made, we are able to query off of it.

Our problem is there is no way for us to define an outer join, the option when editing join is grayed out (screen shot attached.)

Below is the screenshot of what our ODBC Connection details consist of.

Below is the option we are trying to enable.

Since the outer join is disabled, we cannot even add ( + ) to enforce a outer join. Not sure if because of the SOQL vs SQL setting from ODBC setting. The intent is to create an outer join between the sales force tables. Any feedback on a resolution for this will be appreciated.

Hi Sheikh, When you test your connection the details buttom will give you the file path to the prm file generally Here: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\odbc In the PRM file in the PRM file is a paramter EXT_JOIN Set this parameter to YES SAVE and close the file Relaunch the universe design tool.
